My students are from a high poverty area. Those who are able to purchase basic school supplies such as pencils, pens, and often sharing with other children who lack these materials. Many of my students are at-risk, require intervention in basic skills. Many are struggling with reading science language. Our class is using composition notebooks to limit the amount of paper wasted in worksheets. However, pencils are in limited supply. My goal is to have pencils and erasers to write in our science journals for every class period. Thank you in advance for considering our project.
