  • Becoming Immortals

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

We would like to say THANK YOU for the classroom resources you have helped to bring to our classroom. My students are loving these items so much. They have almost no difficulty learning to use it and they are now planning projects such as STEAM and Math group activities. Their plan is to view themselves working on the projects and create small clips that they can use and share with their parents. Students' creativity is blossoming, which is leading to students becoming more interested in their own learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jose Fuentes

  • Going Elite

    Funded Sep 26, 2022

My students and I would like to say thank you. We love this technological tool and are starting to learn how to use it in meaningful ways. For instance, when completing our latest STEAM project. Students were able to record their work and view it a couple days later and make changes to their work. Students love this technology so much so that they are planning to take it to our upcoming field trip to record their adventures. My students are learning to use this technological item with the greatest of ease.”

  • Hear, Hear, Hear

    Funded Nov 9, 2022

My classroom and I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the technology tool we now have in our classroom. My students are enjoying this bluetooth speaker and are reaping great results. Students are using the speaker to listen to stories within the classroom that is helping them to improve their reading comprehension skills. My classroom is composed of one-hundred percent English Learners and they are greatly benefiting from the use of this speaker. The sound is powerful, crisp, and clear. My students are loving this tool so much.”

  • Air in the Sky

    Funded Jan 10, 2022

Thank you so much for your support. Your support is welcomed any time.

My students are thrilled to use this device. We are currently getting use to properly using the device. We take turns using it and taking care of it; from packing it into the box, and unpacking it. We are very careful, so much so, that we do not want to damage it.

My students are coming up with plans on what we can take it to a field trip whenever we can have one. Also, my students are coming up with ideas on how we can have Science and Math class outside and make use of the device.

Thank you for your strong support.”

  • Quarter, Quarter Notes

    Funded Aug 13, 2020

Your donations made it possible for each and everyone of my students to practice playing a musical instrument. My students were so happy and joyous when they were first introduced to the musical instrument.

Because of Covid-19, we had to delay the time of when to use the musical instrument. But nonetheless, we have put the recorders to use, and my students love it!

It is taking a little time to practice, but my students are learning to play "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Everything is looking great.

From the bottom of my heart; THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jose Fuentes

  • Musical Notes and Chords

    Funded May 5, 2021

My current classroom and my future classroom would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to be exposed to music. Having a musical instrument in the classroom helps us to change the mood of our classroom.

We love to expose students to all academic subjects including the Arts and it is here where Music comes in. Music is just as important as Math and Language Arts. We should be exposed to it on a daily basis.

Whether joining in by playing an instrument, singing or clapping, Music helps to change we think and act. It brightens our days.”

    With gratitude,

  • Classic Books

    Funded Mar 19, 2020

I would like to thank you for providing a very important reading resource to our classroom. My third graders are very happy to start reading a chapter book. Due to remote learning reasons, we have sent the books home and we have started a remote learning literacy circle.

My third graders are practicing reading skills and at the same time developing an important writing skill. Charlotte's Web includes many examples of how to use descriptive details. As we read the chapters, we stop to discuss the examples displayed in the book.

Thank you so much for you generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jose Fuentes

  • Let's Catch Up To The Technological World!

    Funded Jan 31, 2012

I am excited and at the same time very happy to have people like you who care about education. Technology is part of education, and it today's ever changing world, technology has become a new language we all must learn to speak. It is, however, moving so fast that it is virtually impossible to stay on pace with it.

It is here where your help comes in and my classroom appreciates your help. The newly acquired technological item has arrived and it already has changed the way we run our classroom. Students get to use it almost in up-to-the-minute instances, such as searching for words in an on-line dictionary or searching for a visual for a newly introduced vocabulary word.

Once again, I thank all of you. Thank you so much for caring! It is people like you who help our youth to become better people.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jose Fuentes

My group of students is a 3rd grade class made up of both Latinos and African American students from low income families eager to learn. They attend a public school in California. They are very inquisitive with lots of questions in their little minds. They try very hard, and though they do not succeed every time, they do not give up and continue to give it their best shot. But when they succeed or do their work just right, their faces glow with excitement and joy. That inspires them to continue to strive forward towards new learning adventures. It is my pleasure to teach them strong academic content using the most up to date technological tools available to us. My students love hands-on activities. They like to touch and explore, and they love visual aids that enhance their learning modalities.
