I teach Middle School Mathematics at an all girls public charter school. My students are definitely High Needs. Most enter class performing below grade level. The majority qualify for Free And Reduced Meals, which means they are living at or below the poverty level. My students generally have a lot of obstacles they have to overcome to obtain an education.
