  • Building Community With LEGOS

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students have loved receiving Legos as an incentive to make good choices. Each time we observe a student making a good choice, that student gets to add a Lego to our Lego Community. Once we are out of Legos, I will have them describe what they think the building could be used for. I will also ask them what they think the building still needs. I believe that this will help them be creative, enjoy writing about something fun, and make better choices throughout the day.

Thank you for bringing good choices to our classroom through building! I truly cannot thank you enough.”

  • Play and Learn with Dough!

    Funded May 31, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students are loving learning with dough. They are making letters, numbers, and shapes with the dough. Soon, we will be learning to add with the dough. I will have children make balls to represent numbers in an addition or subtraction sentence. This really gives them a fun tactile way to learn. We also enjoy bringing the dough out during free-time. Students get so creative and make fun sculptures and building with them. This dough has brought so much fun to our learning. I truly cannot thank you enough.

    Thank you for your generosity.”

  • Kindergarten Watercolorists!

    Funded May 6, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students are loving the wonderful watercolor supplies we received. The students have created beautiful works of art and I am so thankful that they have this opportunity to explore another art medium. We have used the watercolors to not only make beautiful art but it has been a really fun way for students to learn how to write their names. They love using the fancy watercolor pens to write in different beautiful colors.

Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to create through art. Thank you for supporting our classroom!”

    Funded Sep 23, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. These supplies were exactly what we needed to start the year off right. The students love displaying their work in the p pocket charts and they are enjoying practicing their cursive in them as well. It is especially fun for them to practice with the new colorful dry erase markers. The students and I are also enjoying the adorable calendar days. It is such a fun and festive addition to our classroom!

  • STEM Building Kinders

    Funded May 13, 2019

I truly cannot thank you enough for your generous donation to our classroom project. My students are loving the building planks. It is so amazing to see what their creative minds come up with. They have built everything from buildings to trains, letters, and people. I love how excited they get when we bring out the planks for free-time activities. I especially enjoying working with the kids to learn their letters. They have so much more fun forming the letters with the planks then they do simply writing the letter with a pencil. Thank you for bringing this creativity to my class. Also, thank you for the bin to store them in! It is such an easy way to bring out the planks for small groups or for free-time.

Thank you again for your generosity!”
