My school has close to 3,000 students. The majority of the students are from low-income families and are qualify for free or reduced lunch. Unfortunately not many students have computers at home to complete on-line math assignments or research projects. Having working batteries for the computers could enhance students’ learning by using a different media where they can see, hear, and interact with new math concepts in a way that no book or lecture can do.
