Fun Friday Board Games

First of all, my apologies for this belated thank you note. I truly appreciate the board games that were donated to my classroom.
Every Friday afternoon, my students got to enjoy playing classic games for a few minutes. Many of them had never played a physical board game before. We spent a few Fridays learning the rules to the games and learning good sportsmanship.
At the end of the school year, many students noted that fun Friday's would be something they would miss about 4th grade.

Scholars, welcome to the Flex Lab also know as the Literacy Lab. Come on in, grab a book, and choose a seat of your choice! There is noting like reading a good book in a comfy spot as you wait for the teacher to call your turn. These flexible seating options will provide students who are working independently with options for comfortable seating as they engage in their phonics and fluency activities. It will help build a sense of community by encouraging students to share space and supplies. This is not your typical resource classroom, help make the Lab a flexible rich literacy environment.
