  • Classroom Basic Art Supplies to Allow Preschool Creativity to Flow!

    Funded Nov 1, 2022

I wanted to personally thank all of you for donating to help provide our students with the art supplies they need to explore their creativity. We have been using the resources to enhance our Creative Curriculum Studies and to also do fun projects and activities around the holidays. We also used some of the materials to create fun fine motor activities like rolling out playdough and cutting them into pieces of pretend candies to sell at the pretend market.

Our students were so excited to see the donated materials arrive in our classroom. They kept asking if it was for them and I assured them that it was and that they were going to use it for all types of activities. They thought it was the best thing ever!

We are excited because we have some interesting studies coming up like the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Study and the Insects Study. These art supplies will give our students a way to show what they are learning in these Studies.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Kochi

  • Preschool Science Investigations and Recordings

    Funded Aug 27, 2022

Thank you again for being so generous with your donations. We have been focusing on art activities to stir up the creativity within each child in our classroom. These activities help develop fine motor skills, social emotional skills, math skills, and language development skills as we work and discuss the colors they us and what their pictures represent.

The day the materials arrived, our students were so excited to see what were in the boxes. We allowed time for them to explore the contents and we explained how they were going to use the materials to display their creativity. They could not wait to get started!

We have just begun our "Buildings Study" and I am very excited to see what their imaginations will create using the art materials you have provided us. Something as simple as art supplies have given our youngest students a voice to share their thoughts and imaginations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Kochi

  • Helping my Pre-K with their Social Emotional Play!

    Funded May 8, 2022

My students have been busy exploring their new gifts and resources that you have graciously provided for them. They invite their classmates to join them when playing with the new resources, talk about what they are doing, and problem solve to figure out how they can complete puzzles or projects together. This has brought out language opportunities for my students with speech or language impairments. Their socialization skills are blossoming as they join or invite peers to play with them. You have helped make this school year a successful one and for that I want to say thank you donating to our project.”

  • Preschool Counting 1, 2, 3!

    Funded Feb 11, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom project. I have used the Hue document reader while teaching my students remotely on zoom. The document reader allows me to use multi modal approaches to deliver instruction to my students. The Lakeshore Counting Boxes have been useful remotely and in person for hybrid my students. My students were so excited to see the cool counting sets they were going to explore! We do counting collections frequently and these box sets provide my students with another exciting way to enjoy counting.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Kochi

  • Life is Precious: Learning about Lifecycles

    Funded Jan 19, 2012

I have been notified that our project has been fully funded! Just wanted to thank all of you again for your generous donations! We have been studying animals this past week and I told them about the kits we ordered through this wonderful organization. My students are so excited and can't wait to receive the Metamorphosis Kits! We will keep all of you updated on how our project is going. We are grateful for your interest in our classroom!”
