STEAM Masters!
Funded Nov 10, 2021My students have been busy building, creating, and discovering as they use the materials we received thanks to your generous donations. They love being engineers and designing everything, from buildings, to parks, to vehicles and different types of structures.
They were super excited to see all the new materials and couldn't wait to begin using them! They love that they can use their imaginations and have fun as they build intricate structures that defy gravity, or try to replicate real-life objects of their choice.
These building materials will allow me to prepare fun interactive lessons that will help my students persevere, and develop their problem solving skills as they figure out how to build sturdy structures and find innovative ways to use their creativity.”

Funded Feb 3, 2021Your donations have made a great difference in my students' learning! They were thrilled to receive their dry-erase boards and markers and put them to use right away. They love to share their work and explain their thinking using their new materials. They will continue to benefit from the materials they received because they will be able to use them again next year wether they are learning online or in person. Your donations will continue to have a positive impact in their future learning! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity.”

Keep Your Eye on the Lesson!
Funded Oct 2, 2020My students have been able to benefit from your generosity in multiple ways. Since I have been using the document reader, my students are able to follow along and stay focussed on the lesson better. They are able to see the small details when I project images as I teach them how to form letters, write, numbers, share books and teach them about science.
They are very excited about learning because they can see the details of my lesson as I enlarge images, or point out details to them.
My students are engaged and participate more as a result of me having this technology as a vehicle to share information. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support. I thank you on their behalf as well and hope that you feel a little bit like a hero, because you have made a huge difference in their learning and my teaching.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Solorzano

Funded Feb 1, 2012I am writing this letter to thank you once again for your generous donations to my classroom project. I feel so grateful for the amazing experiences that you have provided my students. They have been able to learn about anatomy in a such exciting and fun manner that now they are talking about wanting to become doctors, nurses, or scientists. As their teacher it is wonderful to hear them refer to the bones by their names as well as their discussion about the organs and parts of their body.
Our school district is facing a very difficult time and the money they provide is hardly enough to cover the basics. Without your help, my students would not have had the opportunity to experience learning using models and hands-on activities.
Without donors like you many students would not have the opportunity to experience learning in such an enriched manner”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Solorzano

Funded Jan 21, 2012I just wanted to share with you the great experiences that my students are having using the materials that your generous donations provided. The green house, the plant models, the planting cups and all the other materials have given my students an opportunity to experience the life cycle of plants in a fun and exciting way. They had the opportunity to grow their own plants in the green house and observe the different stages of plant growth. Through the use of these materials, the students practiced many skills such as making observations, making predictions, drawing, conclusions, and log keeping. They also got a better understanding of how plants develop and grow.
Without your help, my students would have never had these awesome materials. The budget shortfalls that our school faces do not allow for the purchase of valuable supplemental materials like the ones you have provided for my class. I want to thank you again for your donations and your kindness.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Solorzano
