  • A Rug for PreK: Where Comfort Counts!

  • Our SmartBoard Needs Help!

    We greatly appreciate our projector, which has enhanced our use of technology in the classroom. It has been a valuable asset for our classroom because the students love the opportunity to use the SmartBoard. Without the projector, we were unable to use the SmartBoard, which was upsetting to our students.

    The SmartBoard is an interactive and fun way for the children to complete activities and games. The students are able to obtain and remember skills better using the SmartBoard. It has greatly enhanced their learning and we thank you very much.”

I'm a first grade teacher in an ICT classroom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Most of the students in my class have special needs and learning disabilities and learn better in an environment rich with technology and hands-on learning. Most of the students also come from low-income families and don't have computers at home to work with. When we received the SmartBoard in the beginning of the year, the children loved it! They would pay attention to the lesson because they all wanted a turn on the SmartBoard. But a few month into using the SmartBoard, the bulb in the projector blew out and it was too costly for my school to replace it. The children were very upset that they couldn't use the SmartBoard any longer. Please help in returning the SmartBoard back into use in our classroom. My first graders will be extremely grateful!
