My school is located in an independent school district in a small town in Kentucky. There are close to 730 K-2 students in the school. It is a diverse school setting with a great staff. Students get to participate in music, PE, art, and some dance. We also have a mentoring program that some our students partner up with a community member and work on reading and building a relationship. Also a majority of our students are on free and reduced lunch, and do not have adequate resources at times. Our students are very excited to come to school and learn and HATE to miss school. The school is full of nurturing individuals who care deeply about our school and the kids.
