My 21, 8th-grade Middle School students with Resource Special Education Services are hard-working and dedicated to growing and improving in all areas. Many of them face adverse challenges living in a densely populated urban community of Southern California. Some of them have limited access to resources at home and in their community. As a result, giving my students the opportunity to enrichment materials is essential in order to keep them motivated and to prepare them for high school and beyond. So providing them with additional academic, social emotional, and technological resources will support their engagement and growth.
