  • Technology To Motivate

    Thank you so much for donating a kindle fire to our third grade class. My students enjoy using it for many things. Students have used it to read books, play educational games, draw, and browse.

    Due to the fact that we have one, we use it as a whole group many times. My students enjoy playing hangman as a whole class. When students complete their work, they are also allowed to use the kindle so it motivates them to complete assignments.

    My students come from a low social economic area and are not exposed to using the latest technology gadgets. So for that we are thankful to your contribution and putting a smile on my students face. They are motivated to read when they read from the kindle. Thank you!”

My students come from a low social economic area in which limited resources are available to them. Our school this year is without a librarian due to the cuts and so students are relying on me to provide them with a variety of books that are interesting and meet their reading level.
