  • Perfecting Distance Learning

    Funded Apr 10, 2021

Thank you for your donation to our classroom. My students were motivated to work on skills, they were engaged in working, and they enjoyed sharing their learning with others.

Before the materials, it took a lot on my part to gets students motivated to learn skills that they had no interest in. with the materials they can't wait to start working. They are so engaged in what they are doing that they do not want to transition to the next lesson. Kids are also interested in sharing whta they have done and what they have learned. Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Chavez

My girls were so thrilled to learn that we were going to get a class set of Malala. They enjoy people who had had a great empact on life. I enjoy reading books to them about influencial people so that they can get inspired to make a difference in their lives just like others have.”

  • Learning in Distance

    Funded Oct 20, 2020

My students really enjoy the resource. They are engaged and enjoy learning. When the materials first arrived, my students were estactic. They could not believe that someone other than their teacher had also believed in their education and their well being. The materials were great for all my leqrners. My kinestetic learners were able to touch each sound by sound on a textured dot to blend and they loved it. Students that don't usually do their work loved using materials becasue they had no Idea they were learning. Instead, they thought they were playing a game.”

  • Learning From Home

    Funded Oct 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. This year has been extremely difficult in trying to get kids motivated to complete work and try their best. These materials have motivated my students to read and ask questions while reading. Their fluency scores have improved. My students enjoy the passages that I upload for them on a weekly basis. They especially enjoy the fluency progress chart where they get to see how much they have improved. These materials helped make my students take ownership of their own learning. Thank you for believing in them!”

  • Expand Learning Through iPad

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you for you technology donation to my classroom. My students have had an amazing time using technology in and out of the classroom. Our school is very limited with resources and you generosity has truly impacted my students. Students are now eager to learn about a subject matter because they use technology to research topics. Students are not as intimidated about presentations because the use of technology makes it easier to follow along and admire their learning by looking at their accomplished power points. Thank you for thinking of us. We are truly thankful!”

    Funded Feb 26, 2015

I want to say thank you for you generosity. My students have been having a great time using technology in the classroom due to your donation. My students are researching and writing up their essays. This has brought a new level of learning into the classroom. My students were motivated to do their classwork when they were able to use technology. They learned how to make a PowerPoint for their learning. They used the powerpoint to present to the class about Health. They learned to copy, paste, and save items online. This will help them with later online activities. Thank you!”

  • Science on the Go

    Funded Nov 16, 2017

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. Due to the fact that we have a new technology in our classroom, the students are more excited to research their learning and share with others. One thing that students have been learning is how to create a PowerPoint on line using the laptop. They then use a PowerPoint to present to the class. We have noticed the engagement level has gone up because of this new way of presenting. Students are also able to research what they're working on and present to the class. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for your generous donation. Once again thank you and giving back!”

  • Interacting With The CORE!

    Funded Dec 31, 2015

    Dear Donors,

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students have been engaged with the new common core reading and math activities. They enjoy challenging themselves and checking to see if their answers were correct. They no longer interrupt small group instruction because they have everything they need.

When my students first saw our materials they were screaming with joy and so thankful. They were so excited to see that people cared enough for their education to donate material that can assist them with reading and math.

The next step for my students is to take the information they learned from the materials and apply it in their future classrooms. They have had numerous opportunities to practice specific standards due to these materials. My incoming students will benefit from these materials during grouping time and when they are finished with their work. My students also used the standards in these materials and they applied it across the curriculum, like science. They used the graphic organizers when working with Science. Thank you once again!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Chavez

My students come from a low social economic area in which limited resources are available to them. Our school this year is without a librarian due to the cuts and so students are relying on me to provide them with a variety of books that are interesting and meet their reading level.
