  • Apple IPad and Otterbox Case for my Second Graders

    Thank you so much for donating to my class this past school year. My students absolutely appreciated and benefited from your donation. I often used the

    iPad with case as an incentive for students that finished their assignments first. This motivated all my students, but especially those that needed that little extra push to complete their work. They especially loved "free time" when they were able to choose their own educational games. The class computer whiz flourished by downloading APPS and sharing his new findings with the class. I was thankful to have the opportunity to use the Ipad to show my students a video about how a lima bean grows, which was a project of ours for our annual Open House. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.”

I have a wonderful class of twenty-two second grade students that are eager to learn and LOVE technology and their precious once-per-week computer time. The majority of my students qualify for the free lunch program, which means they have socioeconomic needs. They come from hard working parents that try their best to provide well for their children, but times are tough in our state of CA, therefore most of my students don't have access to the luxury of having computers at home. We need a working laptop computer in our second grade classroom!

About my class
