Freedom to Fidget!
Funded Nov 17, 2023I am writing to share with you the positive impacts that anonymous donations have made on students' productivity in the classroom. I have found that wiggle cushions, fidget toys, and building blocks have greatly impacted my students' learning environment and academic success.
First and foremost, these donations have provided our classrooms with much-needed resources. Thanks to your donations, students have been able to express their energy in a manner that does not disrupt others' learning. During classroom instruction, for example, students without impulse control are able to sit on the cushion and wiggle instead of getting up and walking around. This has greatly enhanced the learning experience for our students and has allowed them to engage more actively in their studies.
Additionally, these donations have allowed students to deal with stress and anxiety while still working on classroom assignments. When a student is feeling anxious, they can grab one of the fidget toys and use it while completing an in-class test or assignment.
Thank you so much for your generosity. The donations will have a lasting impact on students productivity, and success in the classroom.”

A Leveled Library: Support Our Love Of Reading
Funded Jan 23, 2012Our leveled library has been a complete success! The students reading levels have progressed 1-3 levels just within this school year. Also, having the variety of genres has helped students gain a better understanding of the types of books that interest them. They enjoy reading and sharing summaries of their books with classmates. Also, students have built their stamina's so they are able to read up to 30 minutes with complete comprehension.
The class library has also allowed student the opportune opportunity to start to share their interest with their families thus bringing literacy into the home. I believe students have acquired a love of reading through the use of our library and will continue to read for enjoyment.
