The members of our baseball team are ninth and tenth graders attending a public high school on the southwest side of Chicago. Because of the poverty most of our team lives in, we as coaches try and raise funding to provide them with equipment and experiences that we believe all student-athletes should be allowed to experience. In return, our team shows its appreciation through their hard work on the field and in the classroom. We have attendance and academic requirements that we hold our team to, and the vast majority of them go above and beyond these requirements.

About my class
