The activities and games that we use for Math are the most fun. My students and I especially enjoy the Math Scramble Game to play with their classmates. In my opinion, hands-on activities such as these are valuable resources that really can help my students strengthen their math skills.

Funded Dec 31, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity! My students and I are already enjoying our new resources. The books are amazing, and are perfect for both my Multilingual Learners and my non-Multilingual learners.
It is always fun to use literature to make connections to the various math concepts, and it helps make it real for the students. In this way, the students are more likely to retain the information. And, the students really love using the literature to deepen their understanding of the material!
My students and I are extremely grateful that for your donations towards this project. This year has been difficult due to COVID, but these valuable resources help a lot!

Safety First!
Funded Sep 29, 2021Thank you for your generous donation! Our school has desperately needed a new wheelchair, and this is perfect. Unfortunately, accidents happen. There have been multiple occasions that we have need to use that old and outdated school wheelchair for both students and teachers. Needless to say, it wasn't the most comforting ride in that old thing! We are so very grateful to finally have a wheelchair that is comfortable and easy to maneuver, not to mention safe!

They had a wonderful time, played well together, and did that all while practicing addition and subtraction skills. They loved it and I loved seeing them enjoy Math like that.
The intervention supplemental books are an excellent tool that I am using to support my students at home. For any students who are out for an extended period, such as a quarantine, these activities are engaging and fun, but still provide hands-on learning for them. These are a great resource that you have provided.

The various hands-on activities have been so much fun for the students. They enjoy practicing the skills and working with friends at the same time. So many of the students are intimidated by math, but these valuable resources help them to understand the concepts and apply these skills. The students really love the domino activities for multiplication and addition!
The one resource that I am already seeing make a difference is the Subtraction Regrouping Kit. This is such a difficult skill for students to learn, but using this with my groups has definitely helped them to understand the process!

Funded May 27, 2021Thank you so much for your generous gift to fund my project. My students and I are thrilled that these resources were funded! Several of the items, including the Splash Math set, were used and loved by the students! These are hands-on, engaging games that the students played to help strengthen their Math skills. Not only did they practice valuable skills, they had a blast doing it! In addition, I feel it's also very important to have activities such as these to help our students develop social skills. Throughout the pandemic, many students were learning virtually and lost the face-to-face contact with their peers and teachers. The resources that you helped to provide for my students gave them an opportunity to work with other students safely.

Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you so much for donating to our project! My students were so happy to receive these items, and it couldn't have come at a better time! With the "new normal" being so different for our students and NOTHING is like it was in March, getting new items to use in class was a treat for them! Needless to say, they were excited!
These new resources will allow me to create safe, personalized activities for my students to complete within the COVID protocol. We will use the Write and Wipe Math boards to complete review activities, and since there a multiple boards, we can do it alone or with a small group. These are perfect for my students. Also, the games are so much fun and an excellent way to reinforce skills and make learning math fun! The additional ink and office supplies enables me to create/provide enough materials for the students to use safely without spreading germs.

When we first received the materials, the students were ecstatic and could not wait to start using them! It warms my heart to see them excited about learning, especially learning Math! I know that in order for them to really learn something, they have to want to. The materials purchased for the class will help my students to do that-have fun and learn at the same time!
The Grab and Go Math Activities are engaging and can be used for all skill levels. These math materials are flexible enough that I can differentiate my instruction based on the students' needs.
