Calming Area
Funded Apr 24, 2023We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions to our classroom through DonorsChoose. Your support has made a tremendous impact on our learning environment, and we wanted to take a moment to let you know just how much we appreciate it.
The bean bags you provided have already become a favorite spot for our students during reading time. They add a cozy and inviting element to our classroom, making it a comfortable space where our students can dive into the world of books and imagination. Your kindness has truly transformed the way our students engage with their reading material.
The crayons and coloring books have brought immense joy to our younger students. Their faces lit up with excitement as they explored the vibrant colors and created beautiful artworks. These creative tools not only enhance their artistic skills but also foster self-expression and imaginative thinking. Your thoughtfulness has created endless moments of happiness in our classroom.
The markers you donated have been a valuable addition to our supplies. With a wide range of colors, our students now have more options to create visually appealing projects and presentations. These markers have not only enriched their learning experience but also motivated them to take pride in their work, knowing they have the right tools to bring their ideas to life.
Your support goes beyond the materials themselves; it shows our students that their education matters, that there are individuals like you who believe in their potential and are invested in their success. We are truly grateful for your dedication to education and for helping us create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and for being a crucial part of our classroom journey. We look forward to updating you on the wonderful progress our students make with the aid of your donations. Please know that your kindness will continue to have a positive impact on generations of students to come.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Silva
Bring Music to the Classroom
Funded Jan 31, 2012This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. We've used the iPod and the sound speaker on a daily basis to listen to educational songs and recite poems. We will also use the iPod and the sound speaker when my students perform. These activities are just a few things that students can do with the items that you have helped us receive. My students will learn that technology is accessible to all students, not just affluent students. They will learn how to use and operate the equipment. They will also have the experiences of performing, which improve diction, self esteem, public speaking, and vocal presences. These experiences will change students' lives for the better.
The iPod and the sound speaker help support my effort in making instruction more meaningful and relevant. This will help create an environment where students will be more readily to learn.
Our school is currently facing a budget shortfall, so without your help, my students would never would have had this vital resource. Students today have music all around them. It is in the home, car, and even in personal iPods and cell phones. Students also bring that urge to hear music, rhythms, and beats in the class. As an educator, I can incorporate music with the learning styles that many students can associate with. With California having a big music industry, it would be sad to think that students can't show their talent at an elementary school age. This is a big accomplishment. Thank you for helping make this possible.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

Funded Jan 24, 2012This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The printer that you donated is helping my class today. We've used it to print field trip pictures and created a book. We printed sight words for the children to study. We also printed some lined paper so that children are better able to improve penmanship. It will really bring literature alive by providing the children with more visual cues. Therefore, it supports my effort in making instruction more meaningful and relevant. This will help create an environment where students will be more readily to learn.
Our school is currently facing a budget shortfall, so without your help, my students would never would have had this vital resource. Children in this community rarely get the opportunity to print pictures, certificates of merit, and publish assignments. This is a big accomplishment. Thank you for helping make this possible.
