Too Little to See: Microscopes to the Rescue!

This is a small token of my gratitude for your very generous donation of microscopes to my classroom. At our school, we rotate classes for science, so not only have my 34 students benefited from your donation, but so have the other 138 students on our grade level. The students were able to study the parts of a microscope and get comfortable with the equipment, which will benefit them for years to come, and they also have been able to discriminate between a plant and animal cell, which they never fully grasped by using the textbook alone. My students have enjoyed the hands-on science experience and I'm looking forward to utilizing these powerful tools with other classes in the coming years.

Our district is currently facing a budget shortfall, so without your help, my students would never have had these incredible resources. Getting hands-on science exposure at such a young age will give them confidence and a broader knowledge base as they progress to middle school, high school, and even college.
