  • Engaging the Minds of all Learners

    Funded Dec 18, 2024

Students use stamps and ink pads once a week after being introduced to a new sound/spelling pattern. Using materials like this during small groups to practice engagingly helps students learn. With these tools, student engagement has increased making learning fun and interactive. It has also reached those students who are kinesthetic learners. The whiteboard has allowed flexibility, visual clarity, and collaboration. When used together, these tools appeal to diverse learners-visual, auditory, and kinesthetic making the learning accessible to all students. They have promoted engagement and active participation, resulting in effective learning. Students now look forward to the day of the week when they can use all these materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Gonzalez

  • Donate to Empower the Minds of Scholars

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

The items donated have played a vital role in enhancing students' learning. Using technology makes them more engaged and eager to participate in lessons and activities. With technology, learning has become interactive. Students now have access to visuals and hands-on activities that make education accessible. Via the donated items, students' understanding has boosted their ability to understand abstract concepts and connect them to other subject areas such as science.

Learning has become fun. Students can touch, move, and explore concepts. It has also developed their creativity and critical thinking, enhancing their cognitive development. Together, technology and what is created with it make learning more engaging, personalized, and hands-on, fostering a love for learning.”

  • Hands On Earth

    Funded Jan 19, 2012

We want to thank all of the donors for the library of science books and the science game. All these materials have motivated the students to read for pleasure and at the same time expand their knowledge.

We now have additional resources to use when necessary. Students use the science library on a daily basis and they use the books to enrich and supplement previous lessons. The science game helps the students review before the closure of our science units. The most important thing is that my students are learning and having fun.

Without the support of people like you we would have never been able to attain such a wonderful library and science game. ”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Gonzalez

Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. The math games and flash cards have motivated all my students be become active learners. The games have helped students practice basic skills that they will need as they go along their educational years.

All the materials donated have motivated students to want to learn. My students are now engaged and interested in practicing skills that seemed boring before. Their attitude about math has completely changed. They love math!

Your donations have made a difference in the lives of many scholars. ”

My students are third and fourth graders who live in a low income community. The majority of the students in my school qualify for Title I, therefore, get free lunch. Our classroom library consists of only one shelf. Most of my students are English Language Learners lacking the academic content vocabulary needed to advance. These students have no means of accessing additional resources because they do not have a nearby local public library. The classroom library is their only resource.
