Help Pre-K With Tools to Make Our World Go 'Round
Funded Nov 9, 2024Simple words can't begin to reflect the impact you have had on our class because of your wonderful and generous donation.
Our toys, games and learning materials now have batteries to enhance the children's creative and imaginative play. Bit still, they still make those fun fire truck siren sounds with their voices :-)
Having a new and clean broom and dustpan encourages the kiddos to want to help sweep and keep our classroom clean and tidy.
We have been making amazing murals, letters and artwork with the butcher paper rolls.
All around, you have made a great and positive difference in our lives. For that, a million hugs to you.”

Mrs. Field

Funded Aug 27, 2024Your donations have made such an impact on the social emotional behavior of the children in my class. Having the books and stories about kindness, feelings and social emotional building games has really helped my kiddos to be kind, think about how their behavior affects others and help each other. I love to see them refer to parts of the books in their conversations. I have witnessed children helping each other, complimenting each other's art stamp artwork, working together to read or create clay structures with the clay cutters you provided.
They are helping each other set up rooms in the dollhouse with the furniture we received, and even cooperate to build kinetic sand masterpieces, AND clean up after!
Most of all, I love the way they invite others to join in their fun and in sharing the materials, so that every one feels included. This would not have been possible without your generosity in donations. You have created a classroom of artistic, loving kids. You have also built the foundation of future adults who will be more understanding, inclusive and compassionate towards each other and our world. Again, a million thanks to you.”

Funded Jul 31, 2024I don't even have the words to describe what a great and happy impact your donations have made in my class. The kids are constantly painting with the brushes. In fact, we had a family event, and had enough brushes for each kid and their families to use.
The clay cutters and stampers are helping the kids create art, AND build those fine motor skills for those who need a bit more practice and support.
It was wonderful to see children in our relaxing cozy corner using the calming beads when they needed a few moments away from the busiest and noisiest parts of our active classroom. They truly enjoyed the time to decompress with a mindfulness activity.
We can't wait to create our families' holiday gifts, beautiful art the children will create and then frame in the beautiful frames you provided.
Your generosity has truly affected every corner and aspect of our great little class. Endless appreciation to you for all you have done.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Field
Please Help Pre-K Learn About, Share and Practice Diversity
Funded Feb 8, 2023I am amazed at how my young students embraced and understood diversity and inclusion. We read all about these topics in the books your generous donations made possible. We did a study of Ruby Bridges and the children were able to put themselves in the shoes of a young Black girl who braved hatred, anger and obstruction to forge a path for others like her to attend desegregated schools in the South. I was amazed at their comments and empathy.
The multicultural art materials and puzzles with diverse cultures made creating a world where everyone has the right to look different and be proud added to the love, respect and beauty of the children I am so grateful to teach. Again, a world of thanks.”

Funded Oct 26, 2022It is amazing how a pet has changed the energy of our classroom! The children are even more excited to school each day. They have learned so much about our beta fish, Arrow. They love the new responsibility of feeding and caring for him.
Thank you for providing a beautiful and secure fish tank for Arrow, allowing him to feel safe while the children observe and talk to him (yes they have many conversations together).
Words cannot describe the joy you have added to our school environment. Ocean sized waves of thanks to you!”

Help Pre-K Artists Create Masterpieces by Giving Them Supplies!
Funded Oct 26, 2022Thank you for the amazing art supplies your generosity provided. The children (and teachers too) were so excited to open the boxes and packages.
Our art shelves have been replenished, and the children love taking what they need from them to create independently. We have even seen the children branch out and use the art area tools and materials to create activities and projects related to more "academic" areas. For example, they are sorting the shapes from the shape construction paper, into small, medium and large then using them to create wonderful geometric masterpieces! Again, a world of thanks to all of you.”

Funded Oct 17, 2022The new mats you gifted our class through your generosity has made a world of difference! The children are comfortable and safe. Many look forward to our rest time as a break from our very active day of fun, learning and playing.
Each mat has a label on which I can write the child's name. This keeps the mats sanitary for individual use. It has also helped children learn to read and recognize their names and the names of their friends!
Thank you again for providing a safe and relaxing rest time, with our new mats.”

Please Give Pre-K the Gift of Print
Funded May 4, 2022Thank you for your great generosity! Because of you, we have our much needed classroom printer. The children love seeing the typed comments, from their own dictation, under their pictures. They are even beginning to recognize and read their names and the names of their classroom friends.
I have been able to quickly prepare notes and newsletters for parents, fun math and literacy games and activities for students and materials to keep our class information organized and at my fingertips.
Without your generosity, we would not have been able to accomplish so much and so quickly. You have made my printing life easier, and you have made it possible for me to show my Pre-K children their words and thoughts coming to life, proudly displayed in our classroom. Again, a galaxy of thanks to you.”

Funded Sep 12, 2021Mere words cannot begin to describe the difference having seat cushions has made in my class. Instead of sitting in a cold hard surface the children can enjoy themselves listening to stories, reading to each other and even watching educational interactive videos. I was so touched to see the children take books from our shelves, walk over and get a cushions and plop comfortably down to read or share a book with friends.
Without your generosity, my little students would not have such a welcoming atmosphere to read and learn, and would not be able to sit and focus for long.
Again, a million thanks to you.”

Pre-K Needs New Tablets to Help Extend Our Learning!
Funded Oct 24, 2020Thank you so very much for your generous donations. You have made a world of difference in my classroom. The children absolutely LOVE the tablets! They have been able to play games that are so much fun, they don't even realize they are learning and reinforcing academic and motor skills!
My children who need extra help with writing have been using games that help them trace and practice pre-writing. Their muscles are getting stronger, and I can see evidence in their drawing, coloring, and writing their names.
I can't even believe the amount of number, letter, shape, and color activities have found!
You have truly opened up a new world of possibilities for my young students, and have given me another fun way to reinforce what I teach to them each day.
Again a world of thanks to you.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Field
