  • Make our School and Local Community a Better Place

    Funded Mar 8, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation of supplies to help us create posters for our school community. Your support has made it possible for our students to engage in meaningful projects that promote environmental awareness and responsibility. The materials you provided have given them the opportunity to showcase their creativity while learning valuable lessons in sustainability.

The students have truly benefitted from this experience by not only gaining artistic skills but also developing a stronger sense of responsibility toward the environment. They have created posters that encourage important behaviors, such as recycling, using reusable water bottles instead of plastic, and keeping our school clean by avoiding littering. These posters serve as powerful reminders of how small actions can make a big difference in our everyday lives.

Through this project, my students have become more mindful of their actions and the impact they have on their surroundings. They are excited to share their work with the school community and inspire others to adopt environmentally friendly practices. Your donation has played a key role in helping foster a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship at our school. Thank you again for your thoughtful contribution!”

  • Laptop Learning Lab: Investing in Future Scientists & Mathematicians

    Funded May 19, 2024

On behalf of the 6th grade science and math students in my classroom, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of the laptop that has become an invaluable tool in our classroom. Your thoughtful contribution has made a significant impact on our students' learning experiences, and we are truly appreciative of your support.

In today's ever-evolving educational landscape, technology plays a critical role in enhancing student engagement and expanding learning opportunities. With the addition of the tablet, our 6th grade science students are now able to explore the world of scientific research. The device has not only allowed them to access online resources quickly and efficiently, but it has also empowered them to take a more hands-on approach to their education.

One of the most exciting aspects of this donation is how it has enhanced students' ability to conduct science research. The tablet allows students to access databases, read scientific articles, and explore videos and interactive content that deepen their understanding of complex concepts. Whether investigating ecosystems, studying physical phenomena, or exploring famous scientific discoveries, students can now gather the data they need to support their investigations from reliable sources. The ability to conduct this research online encourages curiosity and fosters critical thinking skills, as students are able to evaluate and synthesize information from multiple perspectives.

Furthermore, the tablet has been instrumental in helping students learn how to create and deliver presentations. In our curriculum, we emphasize the importance of communicating scientific findings effectively, both in written and spoken formats. With the tablet, students have been able to use tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other multimedia applications to craft presentations that incorporate images, videos, and graphs. They are learning to present their research in a clear and compelling manner, honing not only their scientific knowledge but also their public speaking and digital literacy skills. The ability to practice and refine these skills in a supportive classroom environment will serve them well as they move forward in their academic and professional lives.

In addition to its role in science instruction, the tablet has proven invaluable for our math curriculum. The device provides students with access to interactive math assessments that help them target specific areas where they need improvement. These assessments are personalized to each student's level, allowing them to work at their own pace and focus on the skills they need to develop. This individualized approach ensures that all students, regardless of their initial proficiency level, can make meaningful progress. The real-time feedback provided by these tools allows students to see their growth and helps them stay motivated as they work toward mastering key math concepts.

Your donation has truly transformed the way our students learn. It has given them access to tools and resources that enhance their understanding of both science and math, while also teaching them valuable skills in research, presentation, and problem-solving. It is heartening to see our students becoming more engaged, confident, and independent learners as a result of your generosity.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, and we want you to know that your contribution is making a lasting difference in the lives of these young learners. Thank you once again for your kindness and for investing in the future of our students.

With warmest regards and deep appreciation,”

    Mr. G.

  • Student-Teacher Supplies

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

I am deeply grateful for your generous donation, enabling me to provide my middle school math students with dry erase boards and markers. Your support has made it possible for student leaders to lead small group math instruction. I am truly appreciative of your contribution, which has empowered our students to learn collaboratively and develop essential leadership skills.

The introduction of dry erase boards and markers has revitalized our math lessons, fostering active engagement and peer-to-peer learning. • School Pride!

    Funded Apr 9, 2023

I hope this note finds you in good health and high spirits. As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donation to my class. I am thrilled to share the wonderful outcomes that your contribution has brought about.

Thanks to your kind donation, I was able to personalize some of my students' book bags and school uniforms with one of our school pride branding. These students are in "Yale House". The sense of belonging and unity that this has fostered among our students is exciting. Every time they put on their customized book bags and uniforms, they proudly display their affiliation with our school and their commitment to excellence. The pride and confidence that radiate from them are truly inspiring.

Your donation has not only allowed me to personalize these items but has also instilled a sense of school spirit that transcends beyond the tangible. The smiles on their faces and the excitement in their voices are a testament to the positive impact your generosity has had on their lives.”

  • Help Me Reward My Students for Their Success and Accomplishments

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me make this idea a reality. I recently started a Peer Tutoring program where my students volunteer to help their classmates during lunch with math concepts they are struggling with.

I had a big group of students interested and gave them some training and got them started last week.

I was so excited to take out the Star Students bracelets I got from this project and gave them to the Peer Tutors after their first season. They were so proud to put them ok and show their parents and when they got home.

Next week I will be giving them stickers and keychains, and giving them stickers to use with the classmates they are tutoring.

I'm also planning to give rewards out at the math competition later this month for all the students who participate as a surprise reward.

Thank you for making these small but meaningful moments happen.”

  • Community Service Projects Benefiting Hospitalized Kids & Seniors in Nursing Homes

    Funded Sep 8, 2022

Thank you again for helping us make our community service projects possible with the supplies we needed to make them happen.

When my students saw the supplies they were so excited - many of them are so excited to participate because we had class discussions about who will be benefiting from the projects.

We already were able to make Veteran's Day cards and donated them to our local VA Hospital. We began creating holiday cards to give seniors in nursing homes later this month as well as kids in a local hospital. We also started designing the suncatchers to give around Valentine's Day.

The students love the reward stickers they have been getting for participating.

Thank you again for making this possible.”
