Most of our students do not have a lot of money; most qualify for free lunches; many do not have access to a computer at home. Most do not have access to even the most basic calculator at home (that may be a later goal). We do have a class set of basic calculators. We are a college preparatory school and I take that goal very seriously. In order to best prepare them for college, my goal is to put them on an even playing field. This requires them to have access to graphing calculators.
