The easel will help me display the anchor charts and other materials that I use to teach literacy to our vibrant and enthusiastic third grade scholars. When I am demonstrating skills such as building words with magnetic letters during guided reading and small group instruction, I can store the materials on the shelf under the easel. Our floors are solid concrete, so the classroom carpet will make our literacy community a cozier and inviting space with a classroom library where our third grade stars to enjoy their reading adventures. Reading is fundamental! One of the primary goals of the curriculum is building a literacy community.
