Let's Keep the Band Booming II
Funded Dec 21, 2011Words cannot begin to describe the deep gratitude both myself and the students feel for your generous donation to our program. The new drum heads that you donated has helped the band and drill team in ways you can never imagine. Since they learned that the new drum heads were on their way they could not stop talking about them. The students are so thankful that they can actually make some much needed repairs to their drums.
As you are aware of, education as with the economy in general, is in a financial crisis. The arts specifically are being the hardest hit. Without your help, my students would never have the opportunity to have anything new.
Without people like you, schools would never have the vital resources that so many schools today cannot provide for the students. Thank you again...we could not have these drum heads without you!!”

The new snare drum that you donated has helped the band and drill team in ways you can never imagine. Since they learned that the new snare drum was on its way they could not stop talking about it. When it actually arrived to the school and they saw it they could not stop smiling. They are so proud of their new snare drum. It is nice to see them treat the snare drum with such tender loving care.
