• Bridging the Distance

  We send our gratitude and thanks to you again. Your support for our project helped more than 50 students receive a care package with the items you provided us. Families received snacks, alcohol wipes and hygiene products to help sustain them with distance learning and shelter-in-place.

  Our students were extremely grateful to receive these unexpected items and were delighted to use them. I know that it helped lift spirits that have been overall low. You helped give our students a lift and head start in making their workspace a more productive environment.

• Maker Projects During Distance Learning

Although we are just getting started with learning about how to use these computers, I am excited to see what our students create. • Distance Learning Creative Outlet

  Thank you again for your generosity. Your donation of colored pencils and adult coloring books were shared with our students. Some students used the supplies as stress relief during their long hours of distance learning. Other teachers used this as a supplemental assignment in their art class, for students who finished their other assignments early.

  Although our students are in high school, during these recent difficult times when everyone has been stuck at home, these supplies were a great relief to students. It gave them respite from a computer screen, typing and the mental strains and demands of their school work. We hope to be able to continue to provide more art supplies like these to keep our students creativity flowing.”

  Thank you for your generous donation and supporting our project to help get hygiene essentials to our families. As you can see, students in need received a generous basket of sanitary napkins, snacks, coloring book and pencils, as well as alcohol wipes. Our students were very grateful and excited to receive these baskets and we thank you for gifting us with being able to present these items to students. We are grateful for your thought and hope to be able to continue to support students in their distance learning!”

• Connecting Guts and Coding!

  Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to participate in the Summer Pathfinder workshop. I originally chose a class focused on "Guts and Coding" however, due to changes, I took "Coding for Good." It was an intense week, however, also informative. We examined how to guide students through the complex process of designing and creating a project that would be helpful for the society.

  The highlight of this event was being able to watch the development of a design idea to implementation in less than a week! I am excited to bring this back to students and share these tips and techniques so that they can also have the chance to feel that same "spark" and inspiration.”

• Ed. Tech., Transitioning From School-Setting To The Workforce!

  Thank you for your generous donation and helping our students become better prepared for their adult lives! We learned some excellent tips and tricks for online learning and creating more interactive lessons for students. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to practice some of the techniques during the class so that I could remember it when I got back to the students.

  One of best things I learned from this professional development was creating interactive, online quizzes for students to complete and submit electronically. We learned how to create a "puzzle" with steps that students must complete correctly in order to move onto the next step. No more rushing through assignments without checking answers!

• Warm Hearts Make It Easier To Succeed In School.

  Thank you from the bottom of our warm hearts! We were so excited to receive your funding for our project. We were also able to receive the sweaters just in time to give to students before a week of rain. What perfect timing.

  Our students were very grateful for their new attire and they were much warmer than many of the sweaters students currently owned. • Help Our Athletes Become Champions!

  On behalf of our students, thank you very much for your contributions. We are beyond excited to use our new equipment. Our students were very glad to receive the new materials and I know that they will care for the equipment and make it last as long as possible.

  As we mentioned in our proposal, we have used our new equipment for practices and will be using it during our upcoming games and tournaments. Your donations have helped us gain more practice time, since we don't have to share equipment as much. • Exploring Computer Science Through Hands-On Coding!

  Thank you for your donations! I would like to specifically thank you for the opportunity to participate in such a unique experience. The chance to attend a training related to coding was such a benefit to my students as well, and I am excited to bring back all the new ideas I learned at the training. My students will be thrilled to engage in this material, they will love the hands-on activities, as well as the gratification of seeing their work translated into real-world results.

  With this material, I plan to share with students so they can go on to plan and create their own websites. The highlight of the event was being connected to other educators from various backgrounds and demographics of students, all trying to give their students the same exciting opportunities.

• Pitching a Fast One!

  Our students are delighted and very appreciative of their brand new softball equipment! Our supplies arrived just in time for our new girls' team and they are already putting their equipment to great use. Our girls' softball team practices after school and they are a dedicated and hardworking group of girls. Our school is proud of their efforts, balancing their school work and developing their skills as athletes and team players.

  As you know, the benefits of participating in team sports are far and long reaching. We have seen growth in our girls and it is amazing to watch their confidence grow as a result of being part of a team working together to win! We will continue to use our equipment to practice softball skills. We are grateful for donors like you and will continue your generous efforts, expanding our team sports as we are able, to reach as many students as possible.
