  • STEM Projects in Color

    My students and I would like to express our most sincere gratitude for your donation which has added so much color to our classroom! We love our new color printer!

    We finally had the opportunity to print our pop art portraits in color and display them in our classroom. They look amazing! In addition, we printed our CGI problem solving strategies so our thinking can be seen in color. For kindness week, we printed minions and decorated our door for the school wide door competition. The students can't wait to show all their wonderful work to their parents during open house.

  • A Technological Gift for the Gifted!

    Dear Donors,

    I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you on behalf of my students and I for your support. The laptop computer has helped us access the electronic components of our programs. We were able to learn math lessons using the enVision Math DVDs. We also played the enVision Math Quiz Show which was a great way to review what we had learned and to have fun as well.

    We had opportunities to view science DVDs related to our standards, as well as science experiment videos to get ideas for our science projects. We looked at pictures of State Projects since we were going to make presentation boards on different US states for Open House. Thank you again. We truly appreciate your generosity.”

My classroom is composed of gifted and advanced students. They are an amazing group of children, with so much desire to learn. They have intrinsic motivation which is necessary for learning, but many lack the resources at home to expand their knowledge. Many of them come from low socioeconomic families, dealing with financial hardships Our school is a Title 1 school with limited resources. We have two laptops for over 50 teachers to use, making access to them almost next to impossible. We also don't have DVD players in the classrooms, so we can't use any of the electronic materials that come with our academic programs.

About my class

My classroom is composed of gifted and advanced students. They are an amazing group of children, with so much desire to learn.
