Students are way behind in reading. I want my students to increase their reading skills, learn about people in history, read from different genres, and love reading! We will be reading biographies, so I wanted to provide other people to read about. I also chose books that will help students feel more comfortable sharing their writing ideas and feelings. Sometimes students are more comfortable putting thoughts into writing, so I want them to express their views in print. After the Fall, the book lets students know how to get back up after mistakes or failures. What Do You Do With an Idea helps students learn how to put their ideas into print. The Who Was series introduces students to people in history.
