  • Empowering Kindergartners: a New Computer for Lifelong Learners

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation to our class project. My students jumped for joy when they heard that we were getting a new Apple MacBook laptop.

Students will be able to access a wide range of multimedia resources that make learning things like shapes, colors, letters/sounds, numbers, and much more, an enjoyable and interactive experience this academic school year.

Introducing technology to these young learners is essential for their future success in the years to come. In addition, it helps children develop important skills such as problem solving and critical thinking.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our class project. My students were so excited to hear that our project was fully funded.

The colored ink we received has been useful in printing colored charts, graphs, and pictures. I was also able to print many activities for our learning centers in color. Printing in color makes printed information easier for students to see.

  • Supplies for Little Learners

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our class project. My students were so excited when we received all our supplies. Their little faces lit up when I showed them the art supplies. They couldn't wait to creating beautiful art pieces with the paper and paints we received. Drawing and painting will help them improve their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This will give my students the opportunity to form connections between what they see and do.

In addition, my students looked forward to playing with Mr. Potato Head Family. They have fun putting different face parts on the potato heads. As an extension lesson, students can draw a picture of the potato head they put together.

Thank you again for making a difference in these young learners education.”

My students attend a Title One School and come from a low social - economic background. Ninety-eight percent of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Due to continuous budget cuts, school supplies are limited. Despite their unfortunate circumstances, they enjoy coming to school and are always eager to learn. This writing center will allow them to use their imagination and develop a strong foundation for writing.
