  • Help Us Master the Standards...

    Funded Mar 4, 2013

I can not say thank you enough for your generous donations to my classroom. The literacy centers that you have donated have helped my students to work towards mastering the common core standards. We have used them during center time to build our language skills, comprehension skills, and decoding abilities.

These centers have helped to keep my students engaged and excited for center time. They struggle so often, but these centers have helped them succeed. They are at a level that is challenging yet attainable and my students have become more confident in using these centers independently. Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rogers

  • Help Us Become "Smart"

    Funded Jun 29, 2012

Thank you very much for your generous donation. Not only was I extremely excited for the games, but the students were so excited to see the educational games they would be using this year in 1st grade.

The games have already helped them with their social skills. While playing, we work on waiting, turn-taking, and teamwork. They are learning how to encourage and support each other. The students have also had a chance to build on and practice the phonics and math skills that they are learning in class.

Once again thank you very much. Your donation has helped the students in my class work on academic and social skills that will help them succeed.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rogers

  • Just Breathe....

    Funded Dec 15, 2009

Over the past three months the children have been able to use all of the yoga materials. They love them! We are now able to use the yoga mats instead of laying on the floor when trying out new poses. Since we have real yoga mats the children are more excited and into yoga. They feel like they are true "yogis" and look forward to yoga time.

The yoga pose poster has also helped the students when trying out new poses. Each week they are excited to look at the poster and choose the pose we will try out. Your donation has helped us to experience yoga the way it is meant to be experienced.

Thank you so much for your generous donation. It is truly appreciated by the students in my class this year and will be appreciated for many years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rogers

  • Play And Learn

    Funded Mar 26, 2009

Thank you so much for your generous donation. When the package with the center games first arrived my students were so excited. They couldn't wait to start playing the games!

Over the past few weeks the students have gotten to play each game during centers. The students are able to play these games within groups. They are able to follow the directions and correctly complete each center game, without much help from the teachers. These games have helped them improve their phonemic awareness and math skills. They are learning so much and having fun doing it. The games have also helped the students develop social skills. They are learning to take turns, listen to each other, and work cooperatively.

Once again thank you so much! You have impacted twelve students in many ways. Your generous donation has helped to make learning fun and success attainable!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rogers

  • Listen and Learn

    Funded Oct 31, 2008

Thank you so much for your donation! I cannot express how excited I am to receive the listening center. This will help my students more than you and I can imagine. So far this year, the students have been using a CD player without headphones for their listening center. They have to keep the volume low and have trouble listening to the reading. When they do raise the volume, the students at other centers become distracted. When we receive the listening center, centers will run so much more smoothly. The children will be able to enjoy their centers and enjoy the stories they are listening to. I can't wait to see their faces when they see the new materials. Thank you”

  • Define Your World!

    Funded Nov 20, 2007

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I am so excited to receive these dictionaries for my classroom. I have told the students in my class and they too are excited. You can't even imagine how much these really will help the kids in class and life. Thank you!

    Sincerely,
