Thanks for helping me to be able to provide amazing math programs with the use of technology to my intervention students. Research has shown that using a variety of teaching strategies with student who are below level can help to close the learning gaps. This classroom project was brought to life by The Rebuild Texas Fund and 12 other donors.

Since Hurricane Harvey, my school was a recipient of an influx of displaced students. Some of these students are now permanently joining our campus. While we were happy to be able to take on more scholars, this addition did add to our already challenging campus dynamic. Being in a school population with so many students having varying educational needs, it can be hard to meet every student need at the exact same time. I would like to use technology to help bridge the varying math deficiencies that our students learn have which will allow for our small group differentiation to be even more effective. Our 3 iPads will be used for programs like Dream Box, Imagine Math, and helping student learn brush up on basic skills through online math drills.
