Super, Sensory Space!

Thank you so much for your donation to make this project possible! This area of the classroom has become a favorite spot for the kids to explore. They love running their hands along the sensory wall, or taking a break in the canopy on the big cushions.

My students took an immediate interest in the space once it was complete. Where before there were bare walls and not much to look at, they now have a visual, tactile, and audial space to learn through.

I have learned new things about my students within this space regarding their interests and preferences, and it has opened up new opportunities for language and communication development. I look forward adding onto this space with new items and experiences for my students.
