  • No Funds For A Museum Trip? We'll Learn Art With Technology

    Funded Nov 6, 2013

Once again I would like to thank everyone who generously donated to help bring this amazing tool into my student's hands. The classroom computer has been very popular with my students ever since they've had access to it. My students enjoy going on different websites, especially Lexia. A web site program that targets each student's weakness in language arts then generates games that target their needs. I love the website because it provides them with activities and games that are at their academic level. We have had the laptop that you have helped provide in my class for a few months now. The students absolutely love using the laptop to learn as much as they can, for me the computer has allowed me the opportunity to present lessons with colorful PowerPoint presentations. Thank you for bringing this valuable tool into my student's hands.”

  • Artist At Work!

    Funded Apr 24, 2013

Once again I would like to thank everyone who donated to this project. Thanks to your generosity, my students and I received a variety of art supplies like paper, glitter, brads etc. I loved this project because my students were able to express their artistic skills, something they don't get a chance to do very much throughout the school year. My students were able to create a fun, decorative and artistic scrapbook about all the activities and events that we did throughout the school year. An added bonus was that the parents loved these books and many said they will treasure them for many years to come. By providing my students with these supplies, not only do they now have a lifelong memories book, but they were able to demonstrate their creative side that can sometimes be over looked.”
