No More Sleeping on the Floor

My class and I wanted to formally thank all of those who donated to our project! I know you all have received the initial thank you letter, but we wanted to thank all of you again. As you can see in the photos I posted, the mats are being put to great use. They allow my students to spread out and rest their brains, so they are reenergized for the second part of our day. We feel extremely privileged to have the mats since we are the only pre-k class to have them. As a teacher I know that it adds to the atmosphere of my classroom and helps my students feel more at home.

We are grateful to have so many donors local and across America who have sponsored this project. I know that without all of you my students would not have had the opportunity to attain mats due to the lack of funding for my school and their personal deficits. I hope that all of you know that this year has put the mats to good use and because they are re-usable, next year's class will also use them.
