Our school is a middle school, grades 6-8, and has approximately 1400 students. Our student body is made up of primarily Hispanic students, where all students receive free lunch and nutrition meals. Many of our students come from low socio-economic backgrounds, and many parents are struggling to provide a meal for their children on a daily basis. Most of our students have never been outside of our state and are unmotivated about their education.

About my class
