Our student population is extremely diverse with many English language learners and students from low socioeconomic levels. My hope is to put books into my students' hands that encourage them to find information, develop language skills, and appreciate reading for pleasure. Many of my students do not have books at home that support these goals. I hope is instill a love of reading and learning by offering books that they wouldn't otherwise have available to them.
