Our students are situated in an inner-city community where simple materials such as notebooks and pencils are sometimes considered a burden on families. We are in a Title 1 school where the majority of the student population is 99% Hispanic. Learning is the main focus of our students, they are eager to learn about new concepts and new ideas to integrate into their everyday lives.
