I teach in a Title One middle school in Staten Island, NY. My pupils are all either learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, or both. Most of these kids don't come from a home where they have technology at their disposal. One thing I have noticed this year is how these pupils respond to technology integrated into their lessons. The days of working primarily on a chalkboard are long gone.
