  • Boom, fizz, glop...What is that Sound?

    Funded Mar 15, 2014

Thank you so much for your donation. Having these products made producing our Spring One-Acts so much easier.

The students really liked using the LaunchPad as it made the job of Sound Board Operator so simple. They enjoyed using the fun and colorful light up equipment.

The students will also be using this equipment to create their own radio plays. The students will be able to very simply add sound into their stories to make them more entertaining and fun to listen too.

This project allowed me to teach students a new way to produce sound for a show. This project allowed for students to be on the cutting edge of technology.”

    With gratitude,

  • Sewing for the Stage

    Funded Oct 29, 2013

Most of my students were very excited to see and explore all the items that came in the sewing kits. They asked a ton of questions and were eager to learn. Some of the boys were a bit hesitant, but with some encouragement they have become interested.

The students have been using the sewing kits to make a sewing book full of different types of stiches. They will be creating their own project next month. This project has helped students learn the importance of patience and following directions. Many students became frustrated when their work did not come out perfectly, but as we continued to practice they were able to see how taking their time helped create a better stich.

This project has given my students new skills that they can use at home or in the class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ring

I work at a low income middle school in Nevada. My students enjoy learning things they can feel proud of. I work with about 100, 6-8th grade students, these students love to create things and often have great ideas. My students like to make things they can show to others.
