Fetal Pigs and Frogs for Dissection

Thank you so much for your donation. The money helped to purchase fetal pigs for dissection in my Biology and Honors Biology classes. The students got a lot out of it! They got to see and compare the pigs' internal organs to their own, discuss the structure and function of the organs, draw pictures of them, and a few groups had enough time to remove the brain! Students had a great time experiencing life science at its finest! The students got to see Biology live and inside and had an amazing experience. Thanks again!”

My students are GREAT! They are artistic (we are an arts school), enthusiastic, they love learning, they love to draw, to examine, to remove the brains! They tell their friends who come to my class to see what we are doing. They explain the steps and the parts to each other -- and how they compare to human systems.
