I have an enthusiastic and energetic group of 25 2nd graders! They face many challenges in their daily lives -- poverty, gang violence, and broken homes. Many are also English learners -- whose parents want the best for them but struggle to provide the basics. I also have some mainstreamed special needs students who require differentiated instruction to help them succeed.
