My students are quite diverse. They come from all different ethnic backgrounds and cultures, but all of them have a voracious appetite when it comes to reading. Their favorite time of the week is library time. "Teacher, will you help me find a good book?" Is something I hear quite often. When I ask them what kind of books they like to read they reply that they would like to read a chapter book. They are at the phase in life where they like to read more and more chapter books.
