  • Help with the M in STEM!

    Funded May 8, 2024

    I would like to take the time to thank you for your generosity. We received the materials at the end of our school year. My class then was so excited to receive the resources. They got to explore and engage with the materials for a few weeks. My class this year is very excited to have the math resources in our classroom.

    The math materials have allowed the students to work in small groups learning key math concepts in a fun and engaging way. They look forward to counting and sorting with the math games. The math games make math learning fun. The Lakeshore Counting Cones are enjoyed by all the students. They are learning about one to one correspondence when matching the number of scoops to the number on the cone.

    These resources will provide years of fun and learning to my students. These materials will help with math concepts that students need to learn.”

  • A Carpet For Comfy Learning!

    Thank you so much for your donations! Our class is very thankful for our new rug for our classroom. My students now have a place to work on the floor while learning or playing. The students are ecstatic when they get to build with the wood blocks.

    The students were so excited to see that our classroom finally had a rug for play and learning. Their smiles on their faces were priceless!

    My class will now be able to have a comfortable place where they can play and learn, instead of playing on the floor. The students look forward to going to the blocks area and let their imaginations allow them to create buildings and structures.

  • Cubbies Needed!

    I am very thankful for your donations that allowed for my class to receive the cubbies. Before having the cubbies, the students had no place to put their belongings. They had their belongings all over the classroom.

    When the students saw the cubbies, they were very excited to finally have a place they can each put their belongings in. I personalized their cubby by adding their individual picture on each one. Now each student will make use of their cubby to hold their belongings during the school day.

    These cubbies will initially help my class this school year, but will provide many years of use to future classes that will go through my room. Thank you once again for your generosity to allow for this project to come to life.”

  • Enhancing Technology

    I would like to take the time to give thanks to all who donated to the project. The iPod and speaker system have been put to great use in my classroom. We have used the equipment to sing along to the songs that students have been learning throughout the year. My students love listening to educational music throughout the day. The portability of the speakers have allowed us to use it anywhere in the school.
