Be A Buddy: Bud, Not Buddy Chapter Book
Funded Feb 3, 2024First off, thank you so much for your donation of "Bud, Not Buddy." The students loved reading it and discovering more information about The Great Depression and life during the 1930s. As we read along, the students were loving the descriptive language and the antics that the character, "Bud" gets into.
The best part was the "twist" at the end and the students surprised faces. They realized all the hints and clues at the beginning were leading up to the big reveal at the end. After that, the students were looking for other books by the author.
Again, thank you so much for these books. It was a great read and lesson for the students.”

Plan to Succeed: Student Planners for Organization!
Funded Sep 13, 2023First off, thank you so much for your donations to our project. These planners have been wonderful for students to keep up with their homework and messages to and from parents. This is also helping the students get more organized with what's due and when.
The student led have been working hard to make sure the test, projects and extended assignments are due.
Parents have loved having these planners. They are able to see what their child is supposed to be working on.

We Wish For The Wish Giver
Funded Mar 14, 2023Thank you so much for you help in getting my students new chapter books to read. They are excited to read The Wish Giver and learn about different perspectives. While working here, my students have not been able to read as many chapter books and instill their love of reading. With these new books, my kids can get excited about reading other genres.”

Pocket Full of Organization
Funded Nov 1, 2022Thank you so much for the donations that lead to the chair pockets. The students have been using them to store their daily materials. They are finding it easier to to reach around and get their stuff, rather than having to get up and go to their cubbies.
Our classrooms do not lend themselves to a lot of space saving ability and these have been a saving grace. It is my hope that they last the year and can be reused next year for the benefit of another class.
