Safety Blankets

I want to tell you a story about how your kind and generous donations have had a positive impacted on my students and me. A student came into to school very late, with only about two hours left in school. You can only imagine the kind of morning they may have been having. The last thing that child wants to be doing is school work.

The classroom teacher asked if he could send the child to my room so that they could work on the rest of the "Safety Blanket". This child was quickly able to settle down, share with me, complete their blanket and eventually head back to class. When I talked to the classroom teacher at the end of the day; He told me the student had a great rest of the afternoon.

That story is the reason I came up with this idea. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for that experience and many others we have been able to share through this project.”
