The over 400 students are eager to learn, usually excited about attending school and don't usually see the disadvantage that is brought on by the poverty striking our student's parents. Nearly 90% of the students are enrolled in the Free/Reduced Lunch Program which is set by the Federal Government's National Poverty Level. The students are without many resources, both at home and at our school. Difficult to fund raise or bring in corporate donations we do our best with the little we have. Office supplies cannot compare to educational tools, however, office supplies are essential in allowing me to do my job as an educator.
