  • Comfy Cozy Library Corner

    Funded Dec 22, 2008

Thank you so much for your generous gift! I cannot wait to create this wonderful library corner with the materials you have provided. I know that my students will just gravitate towards them and therefore towards the books as well. Thank you again for making my classroom a more inviting, encouraging, and literacy-friendly place”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Morris

  • "You Mean Nobody's Ever Read This Book Before Me?!"

    Funded Jul 31, 2008

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to this project. I cannot express how surprised my students will be to enter our classroom this fall and see all of these NEW books. I am so excited to see the looks on their faces. Not only will they feel good, but they will also develop a love of reading through this experience with books. Research shows that in classrooms with a classroom library, students read 50% more books. Now that I have books, I can't wait to see their reading improve too. Thanks again, so much”

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I know that these math resources are going to make such a difference in my students' learning. I am especially grateful to be receiving them at the beginning of the school year. I will be able to establish year long math routines that really facilitate math learning. My students and I thank you”

  • Help First Graders Reach Reading Goals

    Funded Dec 31, 2007

Thank you so much for funding our proposal. What a great way to start the new year! These sets of books will allow me to teach groups of students on their own level which is so important to learning reading. We will be able to set goals and know that the books we read will help us move forward. Your support is truly appreciated”

  • Reading And Meeting Magic Carpet

    Funded Nov 27, 2007

I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. This carpet will improve our classroom more than words can describe. I cannot wait until it arrives so that we can begin our classroom meetings and story times. I also cannot wait to see the looks on my students faces when they see it. What a wonderful holiday season surprise for my kids”

  • We Need Books!

    Funded Oct 13, 2007

Thank you so much for helping my students. Your donation of books and a book display will greatly improve my classroom library (which was non-existent!). I know my kids will truly enjoy reading these books, and more importantly, will be learning while they do! I can't wait to start reading the books with them.

    Very sincerely,
