I am going into a class mid year and my students are missing a lot of the manipulatives needed for learning and growth. My students are suppose to be able to touch letters as I teach sound, but the class has an incomplete set. When teaching them to compare shapes or even count , they need to see and touch manipulatives. I needed multiples of different items because I am trying to catch them up and some lessons will be taught in a whole group setting. My student will use the reading and math manipulatives to help them better retain knowledge. These manipulatives will help with high engagement and will make learning fun for them. My main focus is to catch them up in reading and math, but to make sure they have all the manipulates they need in order for me the move them forward effectively.
