iPads + iNnovation = iLearn
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for giving towards such a wonderful project! The extra iPads in the classroom have helped so much by allowing my students to be able to use more technology in the classroom. The iPads are such a great tool to use especially when working in small groups! The students are able to have fun as they learn new concepts as well as reinforcing learned topics. The students are excited every time we take out the iPads because not only are they learning about math, they are also learning to use new technology! I love to see my students have fun while learning!
This new tool in our classroom is so fun to play with and all of my students love using it! The most exciting part of this project is that students are excited to learn! With so many things to do on the iPads, students feel like they are playing! The students are not bored and are engaged in learning new concepts.
Students who are not exposed to an iPad at home are the ones who are most touched and pleased with this new tool in the classroom. These students get to experience learning in a new way. These students are also able to experience how to use an IPad, and I love seeing their smiling faces because they are experiencing something very new!"”

There is no excuse that there is "nothing good to read" anymore because there are so many choices! Never underestimate the attraction of a shiny new book cover. The Goobi Construction set, Magna Tiles, Tinkertoys, and Lego set provides hours of hands-on fun and engaging exploration into engineering and math. These versatile materials give my students more opportunities to explore three-dimensional structures and shapes. My students are using their creativity and strengthening their problem-solving skills while having fun at the same time.
Because of your donations, my students have engaging activities to support their science, technology, engineering, math, and art journey all year long! Thank you all so very much for helping make this project a reality! Ravenous Readers!
Funded May 13, 2012Thank you so much for your generosity in donating to this special classroom project "Ravenous Readers," your commitment was helpful and allowed us to reach our goal. My students greatly benefited from the use of these materials. Their exposure to a variety of interesting and engaging people in history through these biography books led my students to create wonderful first-person biography presentations. These books helped foster a love of reading in my students and created a forum in which students had meaningful discussions about their historical figure. This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The desk organizers, world map, folders, and card stock that you donated have helped my students every single day since we received the resources. My students are utilizing their desk organizers every day, it has freed up so much space in their desks and it has made it easier for them to find the things they need quickly. They are so efficient at keeping themselves organized now, it makes transitioning from one subject to the next more fluid, and we can focus on what's important: learning.
My students will soon be working on researching a region of the world and investigating animals that are in jeopardy of going extinct. The interactive world map, card stock, and folders that were funded by all the wonderful donors here will be utilized in this exciting project.
