• Starting on the Right Track

  Thank you for your generous donation to this project. The items purchased have come in super handy in getting us on the right track this year. Students have been excited to be able to purchase the squishies and playdoh in our student store, we have been able to complete a multitude of projects with the sharpies. The tape runner has also been useful in helping some of our projects durable and long lasting especially when creating family gifts like the holiday picture cards. In addition, the name tags have been used in our special classes like music and dance. Teachers can easily call on students so they can participate in class.”

• A Fresh Start

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. The materials we were able to obtain have come in very handy in our classroom. The laminator has helped me create instructional materials and resources that will be durable and last us for a long time. The wipes and dusters have also helped us maintain a clean classroom. Students enjoy when I give them baby wipes to clean their desks. A cleaning task becomes exciting when they see their hand prints appear on their wipes. This fun activity helps them clean their classroom clean as well as take ownership and pride of their space. Thank you.”

• Dual Language Organization

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. Your help in purchasing these resources has made my first graders' life a lot easier. The bins came in super handy because I have been able to store individual student books in them instead of having students put them in their desks. Instead of having more than 10 books at a time in their desks, students now just have to store 3 of the books they use on a daily basis while still having quick access to their other books that are stored in their bin. This resulted in not losing precious instructional time having to look for a book.”

• Finance Fun Shop

  Thank you so much for the donations. The day the student store opens is always a day full of excitement. Students have enjoyed "purchasing" the new available items. The stress balls and pull back racer cars were a hit and went quickly "out of stock". It is amazing to see the students trying to figure out what they can afford and they are unknowingly doing mathematical calculations when they want to obtain something from the store. Thank you for helping us stock up our little classroom store.”

• Butterfly Magic!

  On behalf of all first graders and myself, thank you so much! Thank you for giving our students the opportunity to witness the butterfly life cycle in person. Students were able to let their curiosity soar. There was so many questions asked and lots of learning took place. I'm very certain this is something that they will forever remember. I know this because oftentimes when I get visits from old students they always ask me if I am doing the butterfly project again. Thank you for your assistance.”

• Readers Are Us!

  I first purchased a few Jack books last year and decided to introduce them to my class this year. They were an instant hit! Once my students found out that there were more Jack books, the began to request them. I currently have them in my rotating library and students enjoy them every day. You can be certain that if they have independent reading time, a lot of my students will have a Jack book in their hand.

  Although they have always enjoyed looking at the pictures, it is neat to see that at this point of the year, kids can now apply their decoding skills to read the books on their own. Thank you for helping make reading accessible and enjoyable to my class.”

• Listen Up!

  Thank you so much for your assistance in completing this project. Your donations allowed us to obtain a set of durable headphones that we are able to use on a daily basis. Ever since the beginning of the pandemic each student has had access to their own device in the classroom. There are a variety of apps and programs that supplement our current language arts curriculum. When students have to go on these apps, we can be certain that each child will be have a reliable set of headphones. Students are able to listen to their own device and allow others to focus on their own games.”
